What is the difference between an integrative medicine specialist and an ordinary specialist?

A specialist in integrative medicine combines the knowledge of academic medicine with scientifically proven alternative therapies (nutrition, supplements, herbs, osteopathy), eastern medicine (TCM, Ayurveda, yoga, meditation) and psychosomatics. Unlike Western medicine, IM deals with the patient as a whole, and not just one selected organ.


What diseases do you treat in IMC using the integrative model?

We treat civilization diseases such as allergies, asthma, endometriosis, male and female infertility, hypertension, diabetes, osteoporosis, atherosclerosis, depression, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, lyme disease, neurological and autoimmune diseases, diseases classified as incurable, children’s diseases, endocrine and oncological problems.


 How can I make an appointment?

To subscribe for the integrative consultation, you can create an account in the online system or contact us by email. Before consulting, make sure you complete the health history attached to the online system. The questionnaire is to get to the root cause of the disease in creating an individualized treatment plan.


I live far from Wroclaw (or abroad). How to prepare for the visit and what steps should I take?

For chronic and complex health problems, it is recommended to plan your arrival for several days to implement an individualized treatment plan. We suggest that you first have an online consultation, so that you can plan your stay in the clinic accordingly and have access to the recommended therapies.


What does the treatment plan look like at the clinic?

The integrative consultation will prepare a very individualized treatment plan, based on an in-depth analysis of your health condition and also tailored to the stage of the disease you are in. The program combines elements of medically proven methods with methods that trigger the self-healing process. Depending on the type and stage of the disease, medical procedures such as oncothermia, whole body hyperthermia, intravenous infusions, structural therapies (such as osteopathy, craniosacral therapy), Eastern medicine therapies (acupressure, reflexology), as well as body work (yoga, visualization techniques, conscious breathing and mindfulness). During the consultation at the end of your stay you will also receive tips on how to continue treatment at home. We constantly monitor the progress of treatment, and the follow-up visits are set individually.


What tests should I do before the consultation?

To make it easier for the doctor to diagnose and choose the most appropriate integrative treatment methods the blood tests taken no later than 1 month before the visit, should be brought for the first medical consultation.


For all patients, we recommend: morphology, urine, general examination, glucose, insulin, lipidogram, liver tests, GGTP, calcium, magnesium, iron, ferritin, uric acid, urea, creatinine ws / m, CRP, TSH, FT3, FT4, and – TPO, total IgE, folic acid, homocysteine, vitamin B12, vitamin D3, serum cortisol.


For oncological patients: morphology with smear, urine general examination, glucose, electrolytes, insulin, liver tests, GGTP, calcium, magnesium, iron, uric acid, urea, creatinine ws / m, CRP, folic acid, vitamin B12, vitamin D3 , cancer markers (depending on the disease):

As in the case of integrative medical consultation, the first step is to create an account on the IMC website or contact us by email. Preventive consultations are for all people who suffer with frequent infections and reduced immunity, are genetically burdened with family diseases or often experience fatigue.

Before consulting, make sure you complete the health history attached to the online system. Blood tests required for a consultation: morphology, urine, general test, glucose, insulin, lipidogram, liver tests, GGTP, calcium, magnesium, iron, ferritin, uric acid, urea, creatinine ws / m, CRP, TSH, FT3 , FT4, and – TPO, total IgE, folic acid, homocysteine, vitamin B12, vitamin D3, serum cortisol.


Will I have a special diet during my stay (is it possible to have a gluten-free, non-dairy, diabetic or other diet)?

In our restaurant we serve vegetarian cuisine. If you suffer from digestive problems or have food intolerances, we will adjust the diet to your needs. It is also possible to introduce a diabetic and anti-inflammatory diet.


I am planning to come with an accompanying person, can my partner benefit from therapies in the wellness area?

Of course, accompanying persons can use the wellness area without medical consultation. To sign up for a massage, please report to the reception or make an earlier reservation in the online system, by phone or email.


Can I participate in Rejuvenation & Detox program without consulting a doctor? Do I need to prepare myself in any way for this program?

The Rejuvenation & Detox program is a therapeutic program; therefore, you must undergo a medical consultation to be qualified. We use a cleansing diet during the programs. After signing up for the program, you will receive by email information on how to prepare for the retreat in order to minimize the effects of detoxification.



What surgical procedures can I do in the clinic?

We perform minor surgical procedures on an outpatient basis, such as removal of skin nevi, subcutaneous tumors or diagnostic sections and other minor surgeries.


Can I sign up for oncothermia / local and whole body hyperthermia / ozonotherapy / vitamin therapy without consultation?

To take advantage of oncothermia, hyperthermia, ozone therapy, vitamin therapy or other medical services, it is necessary to undergo medical consultation. These methods are used to treat oncological and chronic diseases, they are performed under medical supervision and after analyzing laboratory tests. The frequency of these treatments is determined individually with the attending physician.

What group self-work classes can I attend regularly?

We offer our patients a wide selection of physical activities and self-development workshops. For regular practice, we offer for beginners as well as advanced level yoga classes, pranayama, conscious breath work, meditation, mindfulness, visualization and talks about healthy diet.
